End of an era in Cincy?

After Sunday things will be changing, hopefully for the good, in Cincinnati. We know one thing, T.O. has most likely played his last game for the Bengals. I truly feel that will be the same for Cedric Benson and Chad Ochocinco. I would be perfectly fine with the TOcho show being done here. I would love for Benson to stay, but I feel that is highly unlikely.
This will also be the last year for Marvin Lewis as the head coach. I am a fan of Marvin. I don't blame Marvin for leaving. He has to work with one of the most stubborn owners in sports. Clearly, there are some differences in the philosophies of Marvin and Mike Brown. Marvin wants things, like a practice bubble, that will help the Bengals practice in December and January. The problem is that Mike doesn't want that.
Another issue, is the fact that the Bengals do not have a General Manager and we have like one scout. Basically, they don't have a fricken front office. That is a problem when winning teams are loaded with great talent evaluators and the Bengals have zilch.
Things will look mighty different in 2011 for the Cincinnati Bengals. Hopefully with the changes that will be made, the Bengals will be successful and head to the playoffs once again.

Life put into perspective

It's been a while since Scott and I have hopped on the blog. Life can sometimes get so hectic, that many things can be forgotten. Right now, I am currently sitting in the maternity section of the hospital, while my wife is trying to catch some sleep before we lose lots of sleep due to our newborn shortly joining us.
You can't help but sit in amazement during this whole process. I can't stop looking at my beautiful wife while the babies heartbeat is constantly being monitored.
This is a huge weekend for both me and Scott. I am set to be a new dad in a matter of hours (hopefully), while Scott plans to join the ranks of the married tomorrow night. With all of the hustle and bustle of the New Year weekend and the smorgasbord of sports, everything will take a back seat to the awesome events that will be taking place in our lives.
Once things settle down, I promise that I will be back on here more, posting away.
I want to wish Scott the best of luck tomorrow night as he will become a married man! I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year! Looking forward to great things in 2011.
