United States National Team defender, Oguchi Onyewu has extended his contract with Italian powerhouse, AC Milan for another season. The catch, Onyewu has extended that contract for no cost to the Rossoneri.
Onyewu only played in one regular season game, a Champions League game against FC Zurich. He was injured the remainder of the year with a torn knee ligament, suffered in a World Cup qualifying match.
This is an extremely classy move by Gooch. I love it when athletes do things like this. Almost all of the time, its all about the money. In this rare case, its not. Great job Gooch! Can't wait to see you in South Africa in June!
