Oh how things change quickly....

Well in a dramatic turn of events it looks like the Big XII will survive but with 10 teams. Texas has declined the Pac 10's invitation to join the conference. Texas A & M has reportedly done the same. In what seem eminent last week when Nebraska left to join the Big 10 ( which now has 12 teams ) and left the Big XII ( which now has 10 teams ). Somehow the commissioner of the Big XII, with 10 teams, pulled off the unthinkable and kept the conference together and thwarted the vultures, for now.

Colorado and Nebraska have left, and the other 3 big time conferences ( Big Ten, SEC, and Pac 10 ) will be looming for a while.
