CCHA conference tournament down to 4: Miami, Michigan, Northern Michigan, and Ferris State.

Miami may of taken 3 games to knock off instate rival Ohio St. but they still come into the weekend as the team to beat. Michigan may be the hottest team of the group having swept Michigan St. on the road 6-0 and 5-3, riding on the shoulders of back up goaltender Shawn Hunwick. While Northern Michigan is again making their patented second half run. Northern has made it to the final four of the conference tourney 7 of the last 8 seasons. Ferris state on the other hand stumbled down the stretch but after a bye in the first round of the playoffs they came together to sweep a surging Nebraska-Omaha team 3-1 and 3-2 in OT. The games will be this Friday at 4:35 PM on Fox Sports Detroit pinning Ferris St. against Northern Michigan. The night cap at 8:05 will be Miami facing off against Michigan on the big 10 network.
