Josh Hamilton has once again been attacked by the injury bug. This time, its a possible root canal infection. Now as everybody knows, I absolutely love Josh Hamilton, and I was bummed when the Reds traded him, but the trade for Edinson Volquez keeps looking better every day.
The poor guy has fought back from so much, but keeps getting beat down by the injury bug. He has missed time already this spring training with a bruised left shoulder. Hamilton was hit on the hand by a pitch in a game on Monday. X-rays were negative, as it was just a bruise. Hamilton is currently batting .444 with a home run and two RBI. If Hamilton can stay healthy for at least 5 minutes, he has a chance to have another great season.
