Danica Patrick is set to make her much anticipated NASCAR debut on Saturday, at the Daytona International Speedway.
Danica will be driving the No. 7 Chevrolet, owned by Dale Earnhardt Jr, and JR Motorsports. The decision was made earlier today after Patrick reflected on her stock-car debut, this past weekend. Patrick finished 6th in the ARCA race on Saturday, also held at Daytona. Patrick spun early in the race, but managed to work her way through the field to land a top 10 finish. That result led Patrick to want to race in the Nationwide race on Saturday.
Patrick will have a lot work to do this week as she prepares for one of the biggest races on the Nationwide circuit. Any race at Daytona is prestigious, and Patrick knows it. She is just out to prove that she can once again race with the boys.
Seriously. Racing? I thought this was about real sports!
ReplyDeleteSeriously... Ever since they introduced the "Dugger Cam" and the "Race for the Chase" this sport is a joke and a waste of time for the fans.
