While watching the Olympics you can appreciate the talent that goes into each individual sport. One sport that is precise is curling. Yes it is difficult to master, but if you are an Olympian you should perform. The American men have now stumbled to an abismal 0-4 start after winning bronze in Torino in 2006. The heart wrenching fact is the Americans have lost the last 3 matches in extra frames. While that is disappointing, the worst part is the fact that in all 3 of those losses captain John Shuster has had the last throw all three times and has chocked in all three occasions.
I do understand the pressure of the Olympic games, but when in an interview a day before the games began you say that you strive on pressure and live to have to throw the last rock and you choke 3 straight games? C'mon dude, get it done. I know curing is tough to master and takes delicate touch, but your an Olympian get it done. To fail once is one thing, but three games in a row and all but kill your chances at a medal is flat our disappointing.
I know its only curling, but if you haven't watched it it really is a great sport and fun to watch. Not to mention every medal counts and you shouldn't be 0-4 after you won bronze at the last games.
