US Speedskater, Apollo Anton Ohno became the most decorated Winter Olympian in United States history. I could not have happened to a better person. Ohno recovered from a stumble to win the Bronze medal in the Men's 1,000 meters. The Bronze medal gives Ohno 7 career Winter Olympic medals, passing fellow speedskater, Bonnie Blair for most all-time in United States history.
In other Olympic news, skier, Lindsey Vonn won the Bronze Medal in the Super G. Vonn had the lead until Austria’s Andrea Fischbacher and Slovenia’s Tina Maze were able to surpass Vonn on the leaderboard. After five previous riders crashed, Vonn's husband and coach, advised Vonn to take it easy down the hill.
US Men's skier Bode Miller has a chance to become the first US Alpine skier to medal three times in an Olympic Games. Miller will attempt that feat the Men's Super Combined.
