Pre-Olympic hockey ratings released

There is a new leader in the Pre-Olympic ratings, released by the International Ice Hockey Federation. Russia has climbed over Canada to lead the rankings. That can't sit well for the host Canadians, as they have now been thrusted into "underdog" status on home ice.

Personally, these rankings are a bunch of shenanigans, because to me, Canada is still the favorite to win gold in Vancouver. I will elaborate more, later on this week, as I preview some of my favorite events in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Stay tuned!
